24 – Birch Creek Motorsports Park hosts the fourth
round of the ATVA ITP Grand National Championship
Motocross series April 3-4 in Ringgold, Virginia.
Racers and fans should enjoy
Saturday night’s entertainment at the pavilion with music
by Blues Mobile beginning at 8 p.m. Spectators who come
for the music will also receive a FREE pass for Sunday’s
race.
Digger Doug Gust, currently leading
the Pro class, is sure to be challenged by Kory Ellis, who
is second in the standings, and John Natalie, who is
holding down third. Another 17 of the fast pro ATV riders
on the planet will be on hand. The 2004 season is shaping
up to be one of the most exciting in ATV racing history.
Birch Creek is known for challenging
the best of riders with its off-camber turns and Mount
Deacon 110-foot triple jump just after the finish. There
will be plenty of excitement for riders and spectators
Gates open Thursday April 1.
Practice is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 2.
On Saturday, April 3, practice begins at 8 a.m. with
racing starting as soon as practice is over. All classes
will race there first or qualifying motos on Saturday,
except the Pro class.
Practice begins at 8 a.m. on Sunday,
April 3, and all classes will be racing their final motos.
Pro riders will race their first moto at noon. The Pro
final will be at 3 p.m.
